E. Steve Williams, 53, of Pocatello, passed away along with his fiancée, Rayma Jean Johnson, on Tuesday, Aug. 9, 2005, following a boating accident at CJ Strike Reservoir in Elmore County, near Mountain Home, Idaho.
Steve moved to Pocatello from Ohio in 1971 on a football scholarship at Idaho State University. He lettered in track from 1973 to 1975, serving as a member of the sprint relay team. He was a veteran officer with 25 years experience with the Pocatello Police Department. He was an avid fisherman and loved to ride his motorcycle. He was a member of the Blue Knights Law Enforcement Motorcycle Club.
John J. Hurley passed away on May 2, 2007, after a long and fierce battle with cancer.
John was born on July 13, 1956, in Pocatello, Idaho. He attended high school in Kansas, then returned to Pocatello and attended ISU. John joined the Pocatello Police Department in 1977, and enjoyed a long career there until his death.
John’s hobbies included a passion for showing and training horses, and he loved to ride as well. He also loved showing dogs, and was very involved in that for quite a few years. Other activities John enjoyed were camping, cars and of course, motorcycles. He was a member of the Blue Knights, a police motorcycle club.
